*mg-1998 Psychocross #5, Harbin Park, Fairfield, OH

Once again, Harbin Park has proven itself as a fantastic venue for cyclocross. Nick Sapp, and Al and Sheila Senft put together a great course for our 48 racers. Saturday night's showers slimed up a couple of the corners on the otherwise firm track. We counted over 40 spectators.

Some of the day's highlights include:

Bio Wheels' top-ranked pro-rider Daryl Saul competed in his first cyclocross. To give you an idea of the competition in our Advanced category, Daryl, a man who has spanked XC-pros Eric LaMeire, Gunnar Shogren, and Steve Tilford, was unable to hang with the leaders. Once again, Phil Noble roundly waxed the 'A' riders. Notably, Go-Marts Ryan O'Conner made the 6-hour drive from West Virginia to take home 2nd. Craig Mattern (Eurotek) finished 3rd.

Ohio State's Russ Folger spanked the 'B' class for the 2nd week in a row. He was pursued Gary Gorrell (39), a man nearly twice his age. Shaklee's Parry Jahnke finished 3rd to stay in the running for the VooDoo Wazoo frame and USE Suspension seatpost.

Sheila Senft finished in 5th place among the 20 men in the 'C' division. Yep, she's tough.

Thanks to everybody that is making this series happen. We'll keep doing it if you keep coming.
